quoted from the 'Platinum Collection' booklet - 1994
Jimmy Destri: It was one of the fastest records we made. As a matter of fact, 'Eat To The Beat' was one of the fastest albums we made.
Nigel Harrison: 'Eat To The Beat' was a big turning point. We were used to building tracks for 'Parallel Lines.' But 'Eat To The Beat' had a different vibe. 'Parallel Lines' was very cynical. With 'Eat To The Beat' we fully expected to do 22 takes for each track but it didn't happen that way. It became a very organic record. Raw and alive.
